Hello world!

Montgomery County Aggies have an exciting Spring ahead!

Coming up Saturday, February 22 we will be hosting the Ross Volunteers as they lead the 55th Annual Go Texan Parade in Conroe.  We need volunteers to meet us at 9:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church (600 Main Street, Conroe) to help assemble BBQ sandwiches and feed these fine cadets. Rumor has it there might even be a yell practice !!

The Scholarship Foundation will be busy interviewing scholarship applicants  from  our county/ graduating from Montgomery County high schools and headed to Texas A&M in College Station for the Fall of 2020.  If you know someone who fits that description, please send them to our webpage before the window for applications closes February 14.

Our Annual Golf Tournament and Dinner takes place at Walden Golf Club on Lake Conroe on April 13, 2020.  Now is the time to go to our website: mcaggies.aggienetwork.com, to gather information and register to golf.  All proceeds benefit the Montgomery County A&M Club Scholarship Foundation.

Also in April, is our most exciting event for the year: Aggie Muster.  This is both the beginning and end of our club year.  We celebrate each other and remember  those Aggies who have lost their lives.  We award scholarships to our newest Aggies, install new officers and we renew our membership for the upcoming year.  Muster will be once again held at the North Montgomery County Community Center on Tuesday, April 21.  Please visit the mcaggies.aggienetwork.com website as those details will be available soon.

Stay tuned for a dominoes ’42’ tournament to be organized in May.  We are the Aggies, the Aggies are we!

Aggies we are always looking for more opportunities to involve more Aggies. If you have ideas or would like to serve please step up and contact us via mcaggies.aggienetwork.com, the Facebook page Montgomery County A&M Club or twitter @mcaggies.

Sincerely,                 Your Club President, Tommy Hunter ’84
